On what charge was Louis XVI sentenced to death?

On the following misdeeds he was charged treason :
He didn't gave equal rights to low caste people or third estate .
He put a great no of taxes on third estate and gave privileges to first and second estate.
He betrayed his own goverment or country .
After 1791 though France became constitutional monarchy most of the third estate people was divided and was reformed as passive citizens and was not given equal righting votes .
Women's were not given chances and freedom like men.
