(i) Pitch depends on the frequency of the sound waves produced by the source.

(ii) Quality (or Timbre) of the sound depends on wave form.

(iii) Loudness depends as the following:

(a) Loudness is directly proportional to the square of the amplitude.

(b) Loudness is inversely proportional to the square of the distance.

(c)  Loudness depends on the surface area of the vibrating body.

(d)  Loudness depends on the density of the medium.

(e)  Loudness depends on the presence of resonant bodies

Answer:

Waveform

Explanation:

Quality of sound is a charecteristic of sound that  helps in differentiating with two sounds that have the same loudness and pitch but originate from two different instruments. This charecteristic of sound depends on the waveform given out by the instrument.

Hope it helps!
