Resistance is defined as the property of a conductor to resist the flow of charges through it.
SI unit :
The SI unit of electrical resistivity is the ohm⋅metre (Ω⋅m)
FORMULA :
The formula for electrical resistance is
R = V/I
where R is resistance (Ohms, Ω), V is voltage difference between the two ends of a resistor (Volts, V) and I is the current flowing through a resistor (Amperes, A)
FACTORS AFFECTING RESISTANCE :
The resistance of a conductor depends on thickness (cross sectional area of the wire), it's width, length and temperature
