Whenever a magnetic field in changed across the conductor, an e.m.f. induces across it which becomes the cause of induced electric current. If a bar magnet is pushed in to a coil, an e.m.f. is induced in the coil and induced electric current flows through it.If a bar magnet is pulled out of the coil, again an e.m.f. induces across the coil and induced electric current flows through it but in this case the direction of the current reverses. The magnitude of induced e.m.f. and of course induced electric current can be increased by the following way:

Using a strong magnet (increasing the strength of magnetic field).

the induced current in a circuit depends upon:-
1. the amount of current flowing in the circuit
2. yes it also depends on the core material used in a circuit we should usually use soft iron in it.
3. it also depends on the number of turn in the coil.
4. it also depends on the strength of the magnetic field produced around the circuit which totally depends on the above situations.

that's all
