Electric resistance depends on the following factors-
1)Length of the wire.
2)Cross sectional area of the wire.
3)Material from which the wire is made from.
4)Temperature
Electric Resistivity-
Electrical resistivity is a fundamental property of a material that quantifies how strongly that material opposes the flow of electric current. A low resistivity indicates a material that readily allows the flow of electric current.
Resistance= ρ x Length/Area
Here, ρ is the resistivity.
