Answer:

Antonio says that he is like the diseased ram which is best suited for death and thus, he'll die but he wants Bassanio to be alive to write his epitome. It reveals that Antonio accepts his fate very easily and also think that misfortune always falls on the wretched man to see his possession get ruined. Thus, he doesn't think that he'll be taken out of Shylock's clutches and ultimately accepts death.

Antonio concludes his speech by saying that he does not have least remorse of paying Bassanio with his life as he is the dearest of his friends. Moreover, he is grateful that he is spared to lead a life of poverty and misery after all his wealth has been lost.

This reveals the wise nature of Antonio and his love for Bassanio. Antonio is not at all sad to die for the happiness of his dearest friend.
