Rules on which inheritance is based are as follow:--

There are three rules of inheritance

●Law of dominance

●Law of independent assortment

●Law of segregation.

1】according to law of dominance factors occur in pairs and in dissimilar pair of factors one member of pair dominates on the other that is one is dominant which is expressed in next generation.

2】law of segregation which states that allele or factor do not show any blending and both are recovered in F2 genertion though one is not shown in F1.

3】law of independent assortment states that when two pairs of trait are combned in an hybrid segregation of one pair is independent of other pair of charactors.

These are Mendel's law of inheritance on which inheritance is based on.
