Annexation of Oudh (Awadh)
Lord Dalhousie decided to keep an eye on the governance and working in Oudh, for that purpose he sent Suleeman as a resident in Awadh to collect the information.
Suleeman presented a report to Lord Dalhousie saying that people of Oudh killed their female children and Lucknow was in perpetual turmoil.
He also mentioned about the King saying that the King wasn't intreseted in the governance of the system but he only wanted to enjoy his position.
Lord Dalhousie then sent another resident and asked for report after that he ordered for deposition of King and Annexation of King for the poor governance system of Awadh and the poor conditions of the State.
