A. Nature of the surface in contact (shape, smoothness): For example; pushing a heavy box on a cemented floor is easier than the grass as cemented floor is smoother and smooth surfaces offer less friction.
B. Weight of the body: Pushing a lighter box is easier than a heavier one as friction depends on the force with which two bodies in contact are held together. The force with which a body presses down the other is its weight.
