The 'Bhakra Dam' Project is located on Satluj river. This is the second tallest dam that is constructed in Asia and is located in the border of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

This dam has the highest gravity with the height of over 207.26 meters and is spread across 168.35 km.

This dam is constructed on Satlug river in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh that is in the Northern India.
