The left chambers of the heart are left ventricle and left atrium and the right chamber has a right ventricle and right atrium. The main function of the heart is to supply oxygen to different parts of the body and collect oxygen depleted blood and send it back to lungs for its purification. The left chamber of the heart supplies oxygen rich blood to different parts of the body whereas the right chamber of the heart collects oxygen depleted blood or CO2 rich blood from all parts of the body.
