Answer:

In a grid paper the boxes signify 1 unit ²

Just make a rectangle with

Length = 4 units

Breadth = 3 units

Such that its area becomes = 4 × 3 = 12 square units

For drawing ,

  1. Make a line joining two points at 4 units. (or 4 box away). Mark as A & B
  2. From B, make a line from B to a point C at 3 units. ( 3 box away ) such that both are perpendicular lines
  3. Then, complete the rectangle by drawing opposite sides which are parallel.
