Once a cat was caught in a hunters net. A mouse lived in the nearby hole. The mouse started playing around the cat. Soon a mongoose came there and said to the mouse," Why do not you gnaw the net and save the cat?" Then the mouse said," He is my enemy so why should I help him to escape"

After hearing the conversation between mouse and squirrel, the cat sat glowering at the mouse and said," Please help me out before the hunter returns and remember all the cat you meet in life is not same. I promise you I will not kill you."

The mouse understood that the cat was kind-hearted. He gnawed the net until it parted. The cat became so happy and thanked the mouse for saving his life.
