Once a lord wanted to settle account with his debtors. So he called them to him. One servant had to pay him ten thousand gold coins. The lord was angry and ordered that the servant and his family should be sold and the debt should be paid. The man was very sad and requested his lord to wait a little and he would repay the money. The lord took pity on him and excused him and let him free. But the same servant met one of his companions, who owed him a hundred silver coins. He caught him by the neck and said,” Return my money at once”. The poor man was horrified, “Please wait, I shall return it as soon as possible”. But the wicked man did not listen. He at once handed him over to the police. His fellow servant reported the master to their lord, who at once sent for the wicked servant. He said,” You wicked servant; I forgave you because you requested me. Should you not forgive your fellow servant as I forgive you?” Then in his anger he ordered that the wicked man should be sent to the prison till he paid all his debts. 1. Why did the lord call his debtors? 2. What made the lord forgive the servant who owed him a thousand gold coins? 3 .How did the servant punish his fellowman? 4 .What did the lord tell the wicked servant? 5 .How was the wicked servant punished?
