(iii) x = 2y + 10, where x is Bhargavi's marks and y is Sindhu's marks

(iv)2x + 15y = 100, where x is no. of pencils bought and y is the no. of pens bought

(v)x + y = 200, where x and y are amounts contributed by Yamini and Fathima respectively

(vi)Given the digits in units and tens place respsctively are x and y

Therefore the number is 10y + x

The no. obtained by reversing the digits will be

10x + y.

Then according to the question the expression is:

10y + x + 10x + y = 121

= 11x + 11y = 121

=11(x + y)=121

=x + y = 11
