The poem, “Once I Looked Into Your Eyes, ” describes or takes us to an imaginative world on how the human brain responds when an emotional aspect such as poetry is introduced.

The main aim of this poem was to create a relationship between scientist and poets.

This was created in order to justify that when the poets were exposed to the complexities of modern science, art about science can be created.

Here is the poem “Once I looked Into Your Eyes” by Paul Muldoo.

Once I Looked Into Your Eyes

Once I looked into your eyes

and the only tissue I saw through

was the tissue of lies

behind everything you do.

Once I looked into your heart

and imagined I could trace

the history of the art

of deception in your face.

Now there’s something more than a chance

of making molecules dance

I'm somewhat gratified to find

that by laser-enhanced

magnetic resonance,

if nothing else, I may read your mind.

Summary:

This is a poem that written as a result of imagination that what if we could introduce our beloved ones brain into magnetic resonance imaging tool and found lies and deceit instead of truth and love? What if we apply science on love to find the truth? What if we use laser enhanced magnetic resonance technology on the brain of our loved ones and find deception in their soul instead of sincerity.
