The fibre which burnt and what reduced in size due to heat is the cotton fibre and the other fibre in which there was no change in the size due to heat was Silk fibre

Explanation:

  • synthetic fibres are those which are produced by human beings.  the natural fibres are obtained from either plants or animals.
  • As a result of this the synthetic fibres are cheaper than the man made fibre. In addition to this the synthetic fibres are also resistance to heat and cold.
  • the production of synthetic fibres can be made according to the expectation.
