Once there was three friends. One friend asked other two friends 50 rupees each. Then he buyed a tshirt of rs 97. Shopkeeper gave 3 rupees back. He gave one rupee to 1st friend and one rupee to 2nd friend and he kept one rupee. Now he should give 49rs to two friends total 49+49=98 and he had one rupee so total 98+1=99 where did another one rupee went

u cannot add the one rupee at the last because you didn't give the one rupee to them it was with you only.
Let us suppose think that you gave them the rupee then it will be
98-1=97 which is the cost of the shirt 
so you should give them only 49 rupees each.
