The story is completed below-
Once upon a time, far away in a small village lived an old farmer with his two sons. One stormy night, an unusual sound was heard by the villagers coming from the old man's cottage. A few villagers gathered and rushed to his house.
The villagers were utterly surprised to see that the storm has destroyed the roof of the cottage and it was completely broken. The cottage was in no condition to accommodate the farmer and his two sons.
They required some shelter to save themselves from the violent storm and requested all villagers to help them by providing some space in their houses. None of them were prepared while an old poor man who used to stay alone extended his hand of help. The old man was very poor and was devoid of the daily necessities like food. He used to starve himself for food. He had no work and he was unwell. His unhealthy body devoid him of employment. Still, he chose to help the family when they were in need.
The farmer and his two sons went with the old man. They lived the night there. The next morning when the storm subsided and the sun was shining bright, the farmer's sons repaired their cottage. The family was very thankful to the poor man.
As a token of gratitude, the farmer decided to give half of his cultivations to the poor man every month. The poor man was cherished with joy as the problem of lack of food was resolved. Both of them were thankful to each other at the end.
It was a happy ending.
