Advantage and disadvantage of ozone:

Ozone is one of the inorganic molecules which is made up of 3 atoms of oxygen.

Its chemical formula is O_{3}.

Properties: Ozone is a “pale blue gas” with a pungent smell.

Rareness : Ozone is rare gas in the atmospheric layer, and it has an average of about 3 ozone molecules to the air molecules every 10 million molecules.

Advantage and Disadvantages :Ozone occurs in 2  layers of the atmosphere.

1. Disadvantage : In troposphere layer bad ozone is present which act as an air pollutant which is very harmful to breathe and also it damages the crops in field and other vegetation.

2. Advantage : In stratosphere layer good ozone is present which protects the life on the Earth from the radiation of ultraviolet (UV) rays from sun which is so harmful.
