So, First what are complementary angles ?

When the sum of two angles is 90° they are said to be complemantary.

ANSWER:

Let us take the first angle be x.

Then the second angle be 2x.

ATQ, 2x + x = 90°.

or 3x = 90°

or x =(90/3)°

Therefore x = 30°.

Therefore the required angle = 2x = 2 × 30° = 60° .
