One angle of a linear pair is 80° less than the other. Find two angles.

Let 1st angle = x

Let 2nd angle = x-80

Therefore,

we know that sum of angles if linear pair is 180°

Thus,

x + x - 80 = 180

2x = 260

x =130

1st angle = 130

2nd angle = 130-80

=50
