Answer:

GIVEN :

  • 1st angle = 40⁰
  • Second and third angle are in ratio 2:5

TO FIND :

Angles

SOLUTION :

We are knowing that

Sum of all angles in triangle is 180

Let the angles be 2x and 5x

 \large \sf \: 180 = 40 +  \bigg \lgroup \: 2x + 5x \bigg \rgroup

 \large \sf \: 180 - 40 =  \bigg \lgroup7x \bigg \rgroup

 \large \sf \: 140 = 7x

 \large \sf \: x \:  =  \dfrac{140}{7}

 \large \sf \: x = 20 \degree

Now,

Angles are

 \large \bf \pink{2x = 2(20) = 40}

 \large \bf \red{5x = 5(20) = 100}
