70°

Explanation:

by angle sum property

40+x+x=180

40+2x=180

2x=180-40

2x= 140

x= 140/2

x=70°

Meaure of the first angle = 40°

Let both the equal angles be x.

Sum of all angles of a triangle is 180°

So, 40° + x + x = 180°

40° + 2x = 180°

2x = 180 – 40

2x = 140

x = 140/2

x = 70°

Hence, measure of the angles which are equal i.e. x = 70°

Hope it helped !!
