One antifreeze solution is 36% alchol and another is 20% alcohol. How much of each mixture should be added to make 40L of a solution that is 30% alchol?

We know :-

3O% ALCOHOL = 4OL

ON FIRST SANITIZER :-

6% ALCOHOL SHOULD BE DECREASED

36% = 6\1OO X 4O

= 2.4

42.4L = 36% ( 42.4 -2.4) = 4OL

ON SECOND SANITIZER:-

2O% = 2O\1OO X 4O

= 8

2O% = 32L ( 32 + 8 = 4OL)
