one atom of Na, chemically combines with one atom of H then what it gives and Na valency and How ?

Na + H2 gives you a reduction process where hydrogen is added to an element.

it gives sodium hydroxide ........
valency= 1
because by filling the shells we get
2,8,1
now it losss 1 electron fromhis octet shell and got 1 valency
