15/28 is the probability that drawn ball bears the odd number

Step-by-step explanation:

one bag contain 4 balls with numbers 2,4,5,7

odd numbers  5 , 7

Probability of  odd numbers  = 2/4 = 1/2

Second bag containing 7 balls  with number  1,2,3,4,5,6,7,

odd numbers  1 , 3 , 5 , 7

Probability of odd numbers = 4/7

Probability of each bag = 1/2

probability that drawn ball bears the odd number.  = (1/2)(1/2)  + (1/2)(4/7)

= 1/4  + 2/7

= (7 + 8)/28

= 15/28

15/28 is the probability that drawn ball bears the odd number
