One bright sunny morning l woke up to find my bed floating in mid-air. It didn't take me long to realize that gravity had disappeared and as I looked around everything around me was floating in the air. Talking about myself, I was not in my bed anymore instead floating above it.

I was astonished to see what was going and yelled to call my mom she replied but didn't come. I somehow managed to go downstairs where my mom was, with the help of the walls. As I reached downstairs, I saw the same scene there, everything was floating and was upside down. It was getting difficult for me to even float or move as I was feeling dizzy.

Everything seemed so unreal that at first, I thought it was all a dream and all I need to do is wake myself up but it wasn't the case.

I reached to my mom and dad somehow and stayed by their side asking them what was happening. They themselves were unable to understand the situation. I looked for the phone and called my friends and other family members to see if they were facing the same problem or not and found out that same was happening with them.

The whole day was very difficult to spend as every simple task was way harder now. I couldn't even drink water from the glass or bottle or eat anything.

I was just praying for everything to get over soon and that everything gets back normal. That day I understood why gravity is so necessary for us to live on earth.

One bright sunny morning l awoke to find my bed floating in mid air. It didn't take me long to realise that gravity had disappeared. That was the time when the last pack of humans of the earth used to live in a hard glass orb orbiting around Saturn. We left earth after the unending sand storms that made living impossible on the planet.

Our scientists were searching for a portal to another galaxy that was believed to take the remaining humans to a hew habitable planet.

I was a 12 years old kid when that incident happened. As soon as I realised the minimum gravitational pull, I can not stop the fear rushing into my blood. I have made it outside of my house to see everything floating. I saw my neighbour floating near me. I asked him about that happening.

We were hit by an asteroid last night. Our orb has been damaged severely. Experts are working to fix it from last night. The secretary of the orb said that everything will be fixed with in two days. My neighbour concluded his speech.

I was like, so, we need to float like this for two more days?

Exhaled and went back to my room.
