Average speed is Total distance by total time.
Let total distance be d.
Total time= d/(3*20) + 2d/(3*60)= d/36
Hence Average Speed is 36 km/hr.

Hi friend,

The formula is

Average speed = total distance / total time

Total time = distance /3×20+distance/2×60

Total time = 2distance/60

Average speed = distance /60+2 distance/180 = distance/36 :- average speed = 36m.

Hope this helped you a little!!!!
