i) Probability of getting an ace

= 4/52

= 1/13

ii) Probability of getting a face card

= 52/12

iii) Probability of getting a red card

= 26/52

= 1/2

iv) Probability of getting a black king card

= 2/52

= 1/26

Let A be the event of getting an ace n(a)=4

P(a)=n(a)÷n(s)

Let b be the event of getting a face card

No of face cards =12

N(b)=12

P(b)=n(b)÷n(s)

12/52=3/13

Let c be the event of getting a red card

No of red card =26

N(c)=26

P(c)=26/52=1/2

Let d be the event of getting a king of black

King of black cards =2

P(d)=n(d)÷n(s)
