Total no. of cards = 52

No of ace cards = 13

No of cards rather than ace = 52 - 13

= 39

No of possible outcomes = 52

P (getting a card rather than ace )

= 39/52 = 3/4

Hope this helps u

Well-shuffling ensures equally likely outcomes.

(ii) card drawn is not an ace :-

Let F be the event ‘card drawn is not an ace’.

The number of outcomes favourable to the event F = n(F) = 52 – 4 = 48

Therefore,

P(F) = n(F)/n(S) = 48/52 = 12/13

Hope it's Helpful.....:)
