Answer:

(a) 1/13

(b) 3/13

(c) 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

(a) There are 4 ace cards out of 52

    Probality = 4/52

                   = 1/13

(b) There are 12 face cards out of 52

    Probality = 12/52

                    = 3/13

(c) There are 26 red card out of 52

    Probality = 26/52

                    = 1/2

Answer:

a.  As there are 4 suits and each one has one ace in it,

     So, P(drawing an ace) = 4/52 =1/13

b. As there are 4 suits and each one has 3 face cards ( king , queen and jack) ,

     So, P(drawing a face card) = 12/52 = 3/13

c. As there are 2 red suits (diamond and hearts),

      So, P(drawing a red card) =  (2×13)/52 =26/52 =1/2
