Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of cards = 52

therefore , n(S) = 52

Number of Red cards ( Heart & Diamond) = 13+13 = 26 cards

Number of Black cards (Clavour & Spade) = 13+13 = 26 cards

Number of Face cards ( king, queen and jack-3cards in each shape) = 3+3+3+3 = 12 cards

1 ) Let the probability of getting king of red colour be P(A)

king of heart and king of diamond both are red in colour

therefore,

n (A) = 2

P(A) = n(A) / n(S)

= 2/52

= 1/26

2 ) Let probability of getting Face card be P(B)

12 face cards

n(B) = 12

P(B) = n(B) / n(S)

= 12/52

= 6/26

= 3/13

3 ) Let probability of getting Red face card be P(C)

Heart king, queen and jack & Diamond king, queen and Jack

3+3= 6 cards

n(C) = 6

P(C) = n(C) / n(S)

= 6/52

= 3/26

4 ) Let probability of getting jack of the heart be P(D)

There is only one jack in heart card

n(D) = 1

P(D) = n(D) / n(S)

= 1/52

5 ) Let probability of getting a spade card be P(E)

There are 13 spade cards

n(E) = 13

P(E)= n(E) / n(S)

= 13/52

= 4

6 ) Let probability of getting the queen of the diamond be P(F)

There is only one queen in diamond cards

n(F)= 1

P(F)= n(F) / n(S)

= 1/52
