Total no: of cards = 52 cards

(i) Total no : of face cards in a deck = 12

P(E) = 12 / 52 = 3 / 13

(ii) Total no : of red diamonds = 13

P(E) = 13 / 52 = 1 / 4

(iii) Total no : of spade cards in a deck = 13

P(E) = 13 / 52 = 1 / 4

(iv) Total no: of ace card with black club = 3

P(E) = 3 / 52
