Once I helped a little puppy in my childhood. She was too weak to even stand properly. Her fur was wet because of rain and was dirty too. I took her home and took proper care of her. Within a few days she was once again healthy. One day I took her out for a walk. During our walk, I girl called out to me.
"Um....excuse me?" The girl said. "Yes?" I replied confused by her sudden approach. I turned around and looked at her, see was the girl who used to sit sadly on the bench. "Lucy?" She called out for the pup who was on my lap. The pup waged her tail, jumped off my lap and attacked the girl with licks of joy. The girl giggled because of the sweet gesture as she continued to chant "I found you!" again and again and keep on thanking me. I never have once seen her laughing like this. On that very day I realised, even a small gesture of kindness can be a big deed for someone else. If I wouldn't have rescued the pup that day, the pup might have died and the girl wouldn't be laughing like that. I smiled at the sight of them playing and joined in the fun. And now we are even closer than sisters!
