Suppose the first container has 100 parts volume... It should have 30 parts of acid
The second container is fifty percent larger than the first... So its volume is 150 parts...50 percent of 150 is 75 which is the amount of acid
Hence the total amount in the third container is 30/100 + 75/150 = 120/150 that is 0.8 litres
