Let sandy found x shells,
Then,
anita has (x+5) shells
and shella has 2(x+5) shells.
According to question,
Shells of shella + shells of sandy = 16
Therefore,
⇒2(x+5) + x =16
⇒2x+10+x=16
⇒3x=16-10
⇒x=6/3
⇒x=2
Therefore,
Shells with shella = 14
Shells with sandy = 2
Shells with anita = 7
