Let the shella get x shells

$➠ so \: sunita \: got \: = \frac{x}{2} \\ ➠ \: so \: sandy \: got \: = \frac{x}{2} - 5$

Given That,

$➠ \: x + \frac{x}{2} - 5 = 16\\ ➠ \: \frac{3x}{2} = 21 \\ ➠ \: 3x = 42 \\ ➠ \: x = \frac{42}{3} \\ ➠ \: x = 14$

The number of sea shells found by shella = 2(x + 5)
