Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. of shells of sandy be 'x'

Anitha has x+5

sheetal has twice of what anitha hhas

=> sheetal has 2((x+5)= 2x+10

Sandy and sheetal together has

x+ 2x+10 = 16

3x + 10= 16

3x = 16-10

=>3x = 6

=> x = 2

sandy has 2 shells.

Anitha has 7 shells. (x + 5= 7)

Sheetal has 14 shells( 2x +10 = 14)
