One day I saw my cat was playing with something.I thought it was a doll.But it was really a tiniest sized man.
With a long hat and funny look,the elf then told me to save him from the cat .He also offerred to solve any of my problem and fulfill any wish.
I thought for a while , " should I tell him my problems faced in school and home?"
Somehow seeing his innocent look ,I reposed confidence in him.I told," Dear ," I am always treated as a late riser.Often my mom wakes me up.She has failed in setting me right.I always miss my school bus and arrive late.I miss the assembly and prayers.My teachers,too,have cautioned and complained to my parents about me and my laziness in school.Thus,I am feeling very bad .Still then,I am unable to change my habit.That's why all treat me as a lazy girl.Please help me if you can.
Elf heard me patiently.Suddenly he asked what do you like very much to see? I mean any thing or object of beauty ,you like most ?
Then I told I like flowers, specially,roses.Then he told your problems can be over if you do what I say.I okayed him.
He said, it's very simple.You have to start your day after touching and seeing a rose every day. Oh..So simple ? I replied.In our entrance,nearer to the gate we have a rose plant where roses bloom every day.But,very next moment,I thought I have to save them from the flower stealing morning walkers.The moment the walkers came to my mind,I got annoyed and took a vow then and there to rise early and pluck the roses.Accordingly from the next day onwards I rose daily when the alarm rang.After plucking roses, I felt so happy that I got zeal to go for exercise.Then I was all ready to wait for school bus.The bus driver and my schoolmates first got surprised seeing my alertness and welcomed cheerfully. With these changes in me slowly all started loving me and soon I was even made our house captain in school.
And one day gratefully I first offerred fresh rose of the day along with my loving regards to the tiny elf who had become so great for me.
