One day while I was returning from the school, I saw a huge crowd on the middle of the road. I rushed towards the crowd and was shocked to see a man lying dead with wounds and blood here and there.
After looking closely I feared to have recognized the man. He was a professor at a research institution, residing at our locality, close to my home.
I couldn't stand there for another moment and ran towards my home. On my way, it felt like being haunted by the dead face. The man who was alive a day ago, looked so scary that I was willing to have not been on that spot.
Suddenly a car ran past me. Good heavens! I was nearly killed. I stood up and looked at the back of the car. The trunk was not locked as the lid was nodding in motion. As I was going to move my eyes, I came to see a pair of eyes looking at me from the trunk.
It was very unpleasant and fearful to have been in that situation. However the car stopped at the traffic signal. With some strength left in me, I ran near to the trunk.
As the road was empty, I silently opened the trunk and was in tears and shock. A woman, aged thirty or more was bound with tight ropes. Her mouth was tightly shut with tapes.
I helped her to get out from the trunk and called the local police station from my phone. They appeared at the signal in a moment of time and arrested the driver who just got down to buy cigarettes from footpath shop.
Later it was more heartbreaking to know that the woman was the professor's wife. The professor was killed for a revolutionary formula and they were kidnapping her, which probably could have ended with the same result as her husband's.
