I was going to the super market . I had 500 DHS in my purse . I bought all the essentials and was talking to the cashier , when i felt a swift swipe through my pockets . I looked around and saw that a man was running . I ran after him discovering that his hand contained my purse . I ran so much and called for help but nobody helped me . Soon , i lost him . I stopped by a small cafe and had a small bottle of water and something to eat . I payed for it by finding some change in my other pocket . I had to walk all the way home because i had no money to take a taxi . When i reached home , i found out that my brother had gotten into the college he he had always talked about . I shared the incident with my parents and my brother . I have been grounded for being careless for 3 months . My phone was also taken away saying that the money was taken because i was distracted in the phone . I am served food in my room and cut out from all social media , including my laptop . I read books now and find it really interesting. Thanks to the incident , i understand the importance of reading now .
