Answer:
It was a beautiful spring day. I planned a picnic with ny friends. I was packing my supplies, but when I looked out of the window, something amused me. My little brother and little sister were in the family garden, trying to catch butterflies. Though I knew that they were doing so, I went to my brother and asked him casually, "What are you two doing?" My brother replied that they were catching butterflies.
A butterfly just landed on a flower. My sister went to catch it, but the alert insect flew away. Another landed on my forehead. My brother tried to jump up and grab hold of it, but it flew away and he ended up slapping my forehead gently.
I giggled at their failed attempts."The butterflies will keep flying away. Why don't you give up?" I asked my sister. My sister replied that she and my brother will definitely catch the butterfly and show it to mom, to surprise her as today was her birthday. I was surprised to hear her say that but I was pleased by her efforts.Very soon later my brother was able to catch a butterfly in a jar, and I felt happy for them as they rushed inside to show the butterfly to mom. I stood outside, not knowing what was going on but I could hear the conversation. She wad pleased, indeed. Soon, I saw the butterfly flying out of the room, followed by my running siblings. The two had released the butterfly. Soon after the butterfly went out of sight, My siblings looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.
A few weeks later, I saw a butterfly sitting on the tulip. I realised that it was the same butterfly the siblings caught. The butterfly reminded me of the very incident which happened and a valuable moral: Hard work never goes in vain.
