1.Jaisalmer Fort.

Founded in 1156 by the Rajput ruler Jaisal and reinforced by subsequent rulers, Jaisalmer Fort was the focus of a number of battles between the Bhatis, the Mughals of Delhi and the Rathores of Jodhpur. In recent years, the fabric of the fort has faced increasing conservation problems due to unrestricted water use caused by high tourist numbers. A five-storied structure constructed in a traditional Rajasthani method. The rich heritage of the Jaisalmer fort can be seen portrayed in the novel written by Satyajit Ray which was later turned into a movie. The architectural pattern of this fort is divided into three layers of walls. The outside layer is made up of solid stone blocks. The forts of Rajasthan are very intricate in nature. The second layer goes around the fort. The inward partition is the third layer which was used by Rajput warriors to hurl boiling water, oil, blocks of rocks on the enemies. This enigmatic structure is sure to keep your eyes wide open.

Dear diary ,

Today is very amazing day for me as I travelled to Golden city Jaisalmer ( Rajasthan) .I love the camel ride it was really amazing experience to ride on camel which is taller than me even while it sat on the ground, when camel turned its face toward me, I hesitated. The guide assured me it was a gentle animal and I finally managed to clamber up.Once I was on the camel all my fears disappeared. Suddenly, the guide screamed to me, “Hold on tight to the rope under the saddle”. I tightened my grasp on the rope and the camel stood up -- it was like sitting on a ride in an amusement park. I recalled the guide’s warning – to avoid a backache while riding a camel, adjust yourself with its gait. The guide gave the signal to start, I sat back comfortably. Hope Today's day is always memorable for me in my life.
