one difference between by election and general election.

By election usually takes place only in one constituency in a country on a day due to some fault in the power holding and general election takes place in all the constituents in a single or two days in a whole state or country.

general election takes place in every 5-6 years........ but by election takes place if any problem arise any constituency like death of political leaders, resign of any political leader.
