The difference between nagara style temple and dravida style  consists of two buildings the shorter adjoining the Mandapa, main shrine being taller and it is being associated with the land between Himalayas and Vindhyas.

The main difference between these two is the shape of shikhara, in the main shrine a bell shaped structured further adds to the heights, in this style the temple are mainly formed of four chambers. ( the first is Garbhagriha, the second Jagmohan, the third Natyamandir and the last being Bhogamandir)

Dravida style is the land between Krishna and Kaveri rivers.
