HOLA MATE !!!! HERE IS UR ANSWER

MARK ME BRAINLIEST 2...

GIVEN :

POWER OF ELECTRIC GEYSER = 1500 WATT

VOLTAGE OR POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE = 220 V

POWER = VOLTAGE × CURRENT ( P = I)

THEREFORE , I = P / V

PUTTING VALUES

I = 1500 / 220 = 6.8 AMPERE

NOW , WE HAVE TO FIND RESISTANCE

V = I × R

R = V / I ===> 220 / 6.8 ==> 220 × 10 / 68 =. =. = 32.1 OHM

NOW ::::

POWER OF ELECTRIC IRON = 400 WATT

VOLTAGE = 220 V

400/220 = 1.8 AMPERE

R = V/I

220×10 /18 = 122.2 OHM

GiveN :-

◙ Power of the electric geyser = 1500 W

◙ Potential difference = 220 V

◙ Power of the electric iron = 400 W

◙ Potential difference = 220 V

TO FinD :-

The current drawn from the main line.

AcknowledgemenT :-

Power(P) = Potential difference(V) × Current(I)

P = VI

Potential difference(V) = Resistance(R) × Current(I)

V = IR

SolutioN :-

For the electric geyser,

1500 = 220 × I

⇒I = 1500/220

⇒I = 150/22

⇒I = 6.81 A

\rule{150}{2}

For the electric iron,

400 = 220 × I

⇒I = 400/220

⇒I = 40/22

⇒I = 1.81 A

\rule{150}{2}

∴ Total current drawn from the main line = 6.81 A + 1.81 A = 8.62 A
