Given : One equation of a pair of dependent linear equations is

8x-6y= - 18

To Find :  second equation can be:

Solution:

a pair of dependent linear equations is having two equations of lines representing the same line

Hence having Infinite solutions

a pair of dependent linear equations can be  written as

Ax  + By = C

KAx + KBy  = KC

where K is non zero real number

 8x-6y= - 18

Taking 2 common   both sides

2( 4x - 3y) = 2(- 9)

Hence

4x - 3y = - 9  can be second equation

There can be infinite many equations for example

-4x + 3y = 9  ,  -8x + 6y = 18     and so on
