let the number be x
=> x/5 - 5 = 13
=> x - 25/5 = 13
=> x - 25 = 65
=> x = 65 + 25
=> x = 90

-25=65 are not equal

x/5-5=13. x-25/5=13/1. cross multiply. x-25=65. x=65-25. x=40
no wrong in last step after multiply -25 will go to right side and it will be +25.....
otherwise u can substitute 90 instead of x and seee
