Free and Fair Election is a network of more than 50 domestic civil society organizations working together for good governance, fair elections and open parliament in Pakistan since 2006. FAFEobserved the 2008 General Election with 18,000 independent election observers and the 2013 general election with more than 40,000 non-partisan election observers. After election rigging claims made by various political parties in 2013, the Supreme Court of Pakistan formed a Judicial Commission on the demand of political parties to investigate the matter. FAFE was the only civil society organization which was summoned to share the election records.
